Hi Vadulam – a follow-up question. Is there anything you were doing in the notebook that might have started a large number of threads or subprocesses – that is, more than 100 of either? From the logs it looks like you’re unable to start new kernels because you’ve hit a process limit.

Yes, you are right. A friend of mine figured it out and helped me. Anaconda should provide an error message for people like me. Thanks for responding. I am much obliged.
