Hello everyone,
I am a PhD student who recently started a program. I will be working with deep learning therefore I am figuring out the environment to do it in. I like the look and style of PyCharm so I went with that, as a student with my institution log in JetBrains provided me with the professional version of PyCharm, which is cool.
However, going around online I noticed that it is usually mentioned that PyCharm isn’t the most powerful for deep learning as it could run into issues with dependencies. Anaconda environment seems to handle these things much better. Now in PyCharm it is possible to get a miniconda, but it isn’t a full version of the environment. I saw that PyCharm can be integrated with Anaconda, so I got the Ananconda Navigator, but whenever I open it the PyCharm asks for installation ,which is weird as it is already installed?
I am connected through cloud in the Anaconda Navigator. Is that perhaps an issue? Do I need a more professional version of anaconda to access PyCharm?
Thank you.
