Change icon on macOS

Hey!

Is there any way to change the icon of the anaconda navigator app to a custom one? I’m able to change the icon of the app, in the same way as any other icon, but as soon as I launch the app the icon changes to the old icon:


I would love to customize to something like this:


Does anyone know how to achieve this?

I’m trying to do the same thing, I found this article which is pretty helpful. It looks like if you already have the .incs file, a simple drag and drop will do.

Out of curiosity, wear did you find those icons in you attached photo? I can’t find any service that provides something close to it.

The method in your article is how in general icons for apps work in macOS, but not for anaconda navigator, since the app is just a wrapper of something else (python package I think). So yeah, the app icon would be whatever you set dragging and dropping into the navigator app, but when you run the app, it changes to the original icon. I know how to change on some python apps, like Calibre (the book library manager), but I failed to do so with the navigator so far.
