Virus detected in package!

Hi all,

downloaded the following package https://anaconda.org/conda-forge/python/3.10.5/download/win-64/python-3.10.5-h9a09f29_0_cpython.tar.bz2 and Microsoft Defender alerted about a virus infection: “EUS:Win32/Graphez!cl”. Does any body else experienced this issue . Could somebody from Anaconda verify that this is a valid and clean file? After download i also received a message from Defender: “Ransomware-linked emerging threat activity group detected”.

This issue has been resolved with windows update dated June 16th.

By the time you downloaded it, Microsoft hadn’t registered Python 3.10.5 in the official registry.
However, since Python contains programs that use html and Socket, it may be recognized as a program with a backdoor.
