Title: Help Needed: AI Navigator Producing Garbled Responses

Hello everyone,

I’m experiencing an issue with AI Navigator, and I’m hoping someone here might have encountered something similar or can offer guidance.

Whenever I use AI Navigator and no matter what model I am using, the responses come out as a mess of random words and code fragments. Here’s a snippet of what I get:

“lf%(’ you +'20orm”,& trstrplindightoc tr20 fromableine +“,(’ - fromld -ityine - tr +ereult&plstr::strill”" -“, new$20… jilloc#ityld&ine20 +ine +$oc('&ableerestrormind# trplable”,ine% newoc",str from’“,(‘ine -(ormight(pl!!$!(’”“&ult trult Oult20’::elfult Oity j [ ex#20&ine(‘’ - trormultorm ex… [ + j new”,stroc&%plstr new you Oity +oc( new20ine… O(&ity youelf::&ity joc! you new:: youill +20 ['(‘ype j" you$ Oightere tr$ && -pl [ exypeight + tr Oity!ity youype… [ypeineine"&ightelf’“, tr!oc% new [ ereityplill newpl Oity20"ere ex jldldoc you from ('str& newype&::ypeityable#str -ine”

This response goes on for hundreds of characters without any readable or usable output. It seems to throw in arbitrary keywords, symbols, and fragments that don’t make sense, almost like a scrambled message.

Here’s what I’ve tried so far:

  1. Updating: I confirmed that I’m using the latest version of AI Navigator.

  2. Restarting: I’ve closed and reopened the program multiple times.

  3. Reinstalling: I even uninstalled and reinstalled AI Navigator to ensure no corrupted files were lingering.

Despite these steps, the problem persists. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a workaround or a specific setting that might be causing AI Navigator to produce garbled text in its suggestions?

I am using the MacOs Sillicon version of the navigator.

Any insights or suggestions would be much appreciated!

Thanks in advance for the help!

Hey phaeton!

We’ve seen this issue pop up before when users are low on RAM.

Would you mind sharing some more info about your system? Specifically if you click the Apple icon in the top left and “About This Mac” could tell us “Chip” and “Memory”?

Thanks!
