Navigator stuck with initializing

navigator.log shows only:

{“time”:“2024-06-17 10:01:31”,“level”:“INFO”,“module”:“client_api”,“method”:“logout”,“line”:438,“path”:“C:\ProgramData\anaconda3\Lib\site-packages\anaconda_navigator\api\”,“message”:“logout successful”}

This message/situation has been persistent after navigator reset and Anaconda uninstall/re-install.

Regarding what Unimatrix_00 said in
Anaconda Navigator is not opening - Product Help / Anaconda Navigator - Anaconda Community, I did have VS Code updated after Anaconda was updated/upgraded the last time, since when navigator was running fine.

More recently, I had windows desktop runtime updated in versions of 6., 7. and 8.*, from .NET updates.

I’m suspecting .NET updates more than VS Code update on my machine, as I remember that navigator was running fine after VS Code update.

I’m going to try to uninstall VS Code, then Anaconda, followed by re-installing Anaconda, to see if navigator would resume working.

But, any suggestion/idea is welcome.

The same result as before, without VS Code installed:

navigator stuck, JupyterLab & Notebook as well as Spyder working fine.
