Using older notebook on latest Anaconda Navigator tensorflow unsatisfiable error

I tried running a notebook on navigator which i recently downloaded and i get a tensorflow missing module error so i go to download it and i get unsatisfiable error.

Which is the right tensorflow module to download or how do i get past this? Iโ€™ve tried many times to install the tensorflow module with this error. So I went home where i have anaconda navigator installed on my mac and where i know it works fine so I noticed it has something else, it has an extra environment called anaconda2 installed under opt/anaconda2. In other words, it has the base (root) environment the same as the win11 pc and neither of these base (root) have the tensorflow module. But the macos installation of anaconda navigator also shows another environment called anaconda2 which DOES have the tensorflow module in it.

Any idea how or why i got this installed on the macos and how to get it installed on the win11 pc?

The hard disk is consumed by that amount.

Did you try the Example as it is?

Python installed in your Anaconda is ver3.8, so it will not work as it is.

However, it seems that an environment for Tensorflow has been created, so it is a good idea to select Tensorflow that matches the Python version.

As you can see, the current Tensorflow is ver2.8.1.

Therefore,
conda install tensorflow = 1.15
of
conda install tensorflow
You can do it.

Yes I did try installing tensorflow1.15 above, its in the code i posted from the terminal. It also failed. I got this unsatisfiable error:

Specifications:

  - tensorflow=1.15 -> python[version='3.6.*|3.7.*']

Your python: python=3.8

It fails both on the base and on the newly created tensorflow environment. It fails from the command prompt as well as from the GUI installation option.

That is a very old version of tensorflow you are trying to install. Can you use a newer version? v1.15 is only available for Python 3.6 and 3.7 from Anaconda. You can see the packages available in the main Windows channel here: main/win-64

ok i dont know if its an issue with my anaconda navigator install but i get failed for everything. Its still working but everything i install seems to fail freeze or whatever:

In your Anaconda, Tesorflow is in conflict, so I think it cannot be installed.

To avoid that situation,

$ Conda config --show

Please execute and check the contents.
And if Tensorflow or geopanda is included in it, Tensorflow that is trying to install newly will not be included.

In that case,
$ conda create --name tensorflow2 python = 3.8
To create an environment for Tensorflow2.

and,
$ conda activate tensorflow2
After executing
$ conda install -c conda-forge tensorflow
I think you should do it.

If this setting does not exist, the โ€œconda install ***โ€ command will not work.

You must run โ€œconda repo config --set auto_register yesโ€ for this setting to take effect.
