Question of anaconda installation

I have already installed Anaconda, but when I enter conda --version , it says that it cannot recognize conda . What could be causing this?
I can even use Spyder

Are you using the Anaconda Prompt or Anaconda Powershell? There is an extra step required for conda to be recognized that is done for you automatically if you use the Anaconda versions of the command prompt or PowerShell.

Thank you for your response! I entered it in Anaconda Prompt and it worked normally.
