Please help - cannot open Notebooks

Hi All,

Please, I have a problem. Just opening a Notebook in Anaconda and… it doesn’t open.
I’ve installed the last version in Windows… Could anyone help me?

It would help if you were more specific:

  • which exact thing did you install (including version number) and how?
  • how are you “opening” a notebook? Is this a specific file, or is it jupyter itself you are trying and failing to run?
  • what type of notebook is it, jupyter/python?
  • what happens, is there an error message or something else?

I’ve installed the last version of Anaconda with Python 3.9: https://www.anaconda.com/products/individual
When I create a new Python 3 notebook it fails, it just does not open.

What do you mean? What happens instead?

Also, can you take a screenshot and paste it here?
Did you launch Jupyter via Navigator, or from the command line?
