Hey guys. I am required to use Anaconda for a class this year, and I am having a lot of trouble. When trying to create a new environment with python 2.7.18 (which we are instructed to do), it will just load and load forever saying “creating environment”. I can let this go for hours and hours and nothing will happen. I don’t understand what I am supposed to do and would greatly appreciate any advice.

Can you please paste a screenshot of the complete conda command you are executing to create the environment. Are you installing any packages to the newly created environment during environment creation?
