I would be interested in the processes behind the Anaconda Professional Repository. How do you decide about the included packages and how do you ensure up-to-date versions of them?
I had following issue recently:
Package: pytest-azurepipelines
Version in PyPi or Conda Forge: 1.05
Version in Professional Repository: 0.8 (from July 2019)
The packages available in the Anaconda Professional Repsotiory are a set of ‘stable’ packages that have been vetted for security. Packages available on PyPI or conda-forge are ‘bleeding-edge’ and have not gone through the same process. Eventually the package versions available on conda-forge will make it to the Anaconda Professional Repository.
